Just wondering if I can remove the front driveshaft on my truck and just drive it as a two wheel drive. I am broke and can not afford to get it fixxed, is there anything I can do?

Yep. That'll work fine. Just don't accidentally put it in 4WD while you're moving cause the front won't be up to speed and you may hear some bad sounds.

Is it possible to drop the front drive shaft, and still operate the truck in 2wd? I haven't looked how it is in there, but I need to replace the front U-Joints and thought in the dead of winter it may be easier in a warm shop as opposed to a cold driveway. Do both ends TC & Diff bolt on? I thought when I pulled it there would be an open hole in the transfer case...
