My v6's engine blew a head gasket. I was going to replace the engine with a 5.2, but I just don't feel like it any more. Too much stuff going on, not enough time and I have 3 other vehicles. I have a 50 acre farm and the truck is just sitting in the barn.
I figure I wil part it out and get some money, maybe over the next few years I'll make it into a real project track truck. It doesn't make sense to just put a 5.2 in it when I don't need it as a daily driver.
FOR SALE:
NEW NV3500 Transmission (FACTORY BOUGHT) 1k miles ($900)
NEW 4 wheel drive unit (FACTORY BOUGHT) 1k miles ($600)
USED 68k miles 5.2 engine (Guarantee running) ($600)
USED Blown Head gasket 3.9 v6 engine ($150)
USED Radiator ($100)
USED Computer (3.9) ($100)
USED 5.2 Throttle Body ($100)
USED Ported 3.9 Thorttle Body ($50)
USED all other engine components, AC, Brakes etc. I'll part it all out.
USED all other parts.
I guarantee all parts except the 3.9 engine. I had a lot of the work done just before the 100k warranty was up.
If somebody purchases the motors, you get all of the accessories. If not, I can sell the accessories by themselves. They are all in good condition.
I'll sell the whole truck with everything for $1500. The windshield is cracked, bumpers have scratches, tires/wheels need to be replaced. No exhaust (I sold it).
The truck has been taken very good care of, it is silver 2002 v6. 101k miles on it, I have a friend at the dodge dealership, that is how I got my tranny and 4wd unit new just before the warranty was up.
Parts needed for the engine swap:
5.2 computer
Fuel Rails (5.2 fuel rail not included)
Wiring harness should be replaced (due to 2 extra fuel injectors on 5.2 engine)
I am in the 21502 zip code, I have the 5.2 engine in a $250 crate, ready to sell. I can ship or you can pick up. I can deliver anything to the baltimore area for a $50 charge (gas).
I am flexible on prices. I need to get $1800 to buy an atv for hunting season and I don't need the truck. I took good care of it, all of the stuff is in good condition.

Just to be clear. If you purchase the truck, you get EVERYTHING. You could easily part it out for 3,000+. I don't feel like dealing with the parting out, so I'd prefer if somebody purchased the whole thing.

You still have the trans and radiator? I already have a 5.2 for my swap but i need a NV3500 and the radiator. Where are you located?

1990 sport RC SB, 1995 318drivetrain, 3.92 gears (came with truck) Powertrax "traction system", 95 dash/steering wheel, hearthrob exhaust, headers, cutout after y-pipe, necessary electric fan add-a-leafs, 30x9.5 mud tires, cranked T-bars, AR 39 15x8 rims, grill guard, roll bars
