this may or may not have been asked but, i cant find it.
anyway my 95 daks old 318 has blown rings and probaly my head gaskets r shot ect... i have put it through hell
any way my buddy has a edge box on his F-150 and i was really impressed with a programed gas engine and looked for some that would fit the newer 360s i think 98 and up
any way i would like to know if anyone has ever attempted putting the newer moter in an older truck i do realize i will have to go through a lot of electrical BS with the difference in the computer and all that.
this will happen call me stuipid but what ever i would appreciate some tips though one the wiring deal if i can splice most of the basic wiring in while compleatly replacing some of the more complex bundles.

You could just put the 360 in your truck and run it off odb1 and put a performance computer in it. If you do that you will have to switch the exhaust manifolds, intake, egr and sensors from the 318 to the 360, but it would alot less of a headach than trying to convert odb1 to odb2. just my 2 cents
