Subject: Aftermarket Ignition Questions

Help! I don't understand anything about ignitions/auto electronics...
I would like to upgrade my factory setup on my 2001 R/T's ignition (I think),
I'm planning on getting the Borg-Warner cap & rotor, Autolite 3923's, and MSD wires...
My question is, what are the pros & cons of upgrading to a MSD/Mopar capacitive discharge ignition and/or hotter coil?
Am I going to be replacing plugs more often?
I've read some mixed reviews on results in the previous posts, so any information will be greatly appreciated!

You will have to replace your cap and rotor about 6-10,000 miles with the aftermarket ignition. Most people don't notice any difference in power yet I think it does help a little.
