 Subject: 2001 qc rear window motor

hi, i have an '01 QC (4.7 w/auto trans), and the window motor is bad on the rear passenger side door. i have gone to 2 dealers to buy the replacement motor, but the ones they have have differnt splines for the motor/regulator. i ordered one off the internet, where i actually spoke to someone who said they knew exactly what i was talking about, but still got the wrong one. If i have to, i'll buy the regulator assembly, but no one can tell me if it will fit for sure. Has anyone come across this specific problem?

You should be able to buy the regulator assembly with the correct motor already on it. It is easy to replace, just a few nuts to hold the motor and frame assembly in the door and 2 spring clips at the bottom of the window to hold it to the regulator.
