Hello I have a2002 dodge dakota slt and the motor has knock in it it overheated. So mechanic said new motor 4.7 v8 magnum 4500 bucks I don't know what should I do? Replace motor or rebuild motr and who hav motor?

Hello! I have a 2000 Dodge Durango with a 4.7 motor 16 bit. When I bought the motor it had a 30 day warranty. I decided to just put a new motor in the vehicle, so I am not in need of it any more. I am asking $1500.00 for the engine with torque converter. If you have any questions or would like to know more about the engine please feel free to contact me via email at deanlipe@ymail.com

I have a 08 dodge Durango 4.7l. Just went out and
found a 4.7 motor out of a 2010 Dodge Ram 2wheel
drive pick up.will this motor interchange?
