When you are making moderate power with your cummins a built transmission is not an option. When you get there you will see. There was a day when I had a Edge hot drag comp some stg4 jammers (jammer stg4 are 125hp/250fpt DDP stg4 are 150/300) and a converter and my truck ran 14.20's on a good day. Now I can pull the firebird to the track run low 10's with that, unhook the trailer and run low 13.s with the tow rig. So where did I fall short on the little womans dak? Im sure it's junk yours is way faster with those shiny chrome muffler bearings.

Sorry CTD5.9, but on your first post you made it sound like your trucks were stock. I knew there was no way in heck!

I called the NO2 on your 4.7, LOL!

Glad you pointed out that you swapped in the HO. Because they didn't come stock until recently.

Maybe you should go turbo on her next 4.7 HO?

I have talked to her about doing a turbo on it and she says no. She likes the power on the motor and the option to flip the switch when at the track. I have a couple turbos around that would work good on it too. I plan on selling it within the next year or so and dont like to pawn off Junk. With my luck I would sell it and it would go boom, then im that guy. So my plan is to assemble this other engine swap them and sell it.

HTT64/14
ok, for some reason i thought you meant HTT64 compounded with the HX 40
not quite sure WHY, but i did

ANYWAY
you need to also realize that my cummins is a far cry from your cummins as far as the injection system goes

ive driven an 01 and mine stock would KILL a 01 stock, not even a competition
305 hp and 555 tq stock vs what 245hp and 460 tq?
i have heard they have different pistons, and a few other goodies to pump them up, as well as tuning.
So me adding 125 hp chip is a bit different than you adding a 125 chip. You 60 hp out of the gate to get to mine stock. But i digress.

so i put on a hot juice and, mind you, if i had built tranny (what i meant by a descent tranny) and a lift pump im sure i could get low 14.
In fact there was a guy over at dodgetruck world that ran a low 14 with his juice on lvl 5 and turned all the saftey and defueling off.
stock tranny. and that tranny will not lock the converter until OD, and will slip like no other and they are so inefficient.
i think i could easily get a 14

Yep, the CR engines start with more and are easier to get big numbers out of. I have a couple friends with 305cr engines that make in the 540rwhp range with a smarty and a pressure box. As for the trans I only lock up 1/2 way through third and in OD. Lock up is when the train gets moving.

We do dyno days often during the summer and the bulk of the group I run in makes 500 - 700 rwhp most are CR engines a couple are VP44 and last but not least the P-pump 12v engins. A P-pump was Queen of the Dyno at Fast in BC a couple weeks ago. Rhondas truck made 783RWHP with her 98 12v, her truck also runs mid 11.'s yup its a 4x4 QC LB.

If you have any questions on pressure boxes or injectors let me know. I have some friends at DDP & F1

i would have to take a trip down to St. Lucas Iowa before i start thinking about that stuff
i just have the edge juice w/ attitude and an intake
long way to go before i start thinking about turbos, injectors, or other boxes/programers
