If I remember correctly you have to pull the whole dash apart.

Good luck.
At the assembly plant, the heater core is suspended from the ceiling with string, and the truck is built up around it.

from what i've read before the whole dash will have to come off. your best bet is to buy a repair manual of your choice and go from there. second best, pay someone to do it. probably between 500 and 1k.
