I use it every oil change on my current truck (02) and on my old truck (95).

I helps prevent engine slude. I poured 1/3 bottle in when filling up with oil.

I use synthetic oil and changed every 5-7k miles depending on driving conditions.

You can also use marvel mystery oil, I've not used it but others here have and do.

If you have really bad sludge build up, you can get an engine flush done. Pepboys offers it, you may have to call around to find a shop that offers this service. They run warm cleaning solution through oil system. In at the filter port and vaccuum out at the pan. Cleaned alot of sludge out of my old 95. my mpg dropped to no better than around 13 or so. After engine flush back up to 16-17.

i use other 2/3 can in gas and air intake (1/3 each).

my 02 QC 4x4 4.7L consistantly gets 15.5-16.5 mpg. 86k miles and still going strong. My 95 CC 3.9L 4x4 went almost 170k before I traded it in on my current 02.

I'm pleased with seafoam.
