I am looking into buying a truck and i was talking to one of my friends that had a dakota 5.2 4x4 .. and he liked is expirence..Im thinking bout gettin a 5 speed 98 dakota 5.2 4x4 and im wondering what other owners have to say about the truck and what they have to suggest...

i got a 99 5.2 4x4 and i like it, power is about the same as a 4.7. the 4.7s got better technology into it. but i love mine. its torqy and i have tons of fun in it. the only thing that pisses me off about the truck was that dredded plenum pan gasket. i had to do it twice.
but other than that, good. reliable. truck.
