Hi!

Thanks to the valuable advice given in this forum, I decided to go ahead with replacing my balljoints this weekend. It went fairly smooth overall. I rented the ball joint press and pickle fork from Parts-Source (free), I couldn't imagine getting that lower ball joint out without a press...

The replacement balljoints are the greasable Spicer ones from NAPA. I was quoted ~$900 for this job, but I got it done for about $300 in parts, and a Saturday afternoon/evening in the garage. The balljoints had been replaced in the past, so I didn't have to drill out any rivets for the top one.

I hope that the pictures help anyone else that is also considering tackling this job.
