Hey all-
I just wanna say this forum rocks!!!
My 99 dakota burns oil .... not really noticable from the exuast. After doing freeway speed for a hundred miles or two, I notice My oil level drops a noticable amount. Its like when its running at or over 2500 rpms. Is this one of the classic cases of the intake gasket going bad? Or is there something else I should look into?

get a flash light and look down the throttle body
you'll see the intake all cruded up if the plen gasket is that bad
