this might be a dumb question but here goes, I have a 2002 QC 4.7 and I was wondering if it is ok to jack up my truck on the differential (pumpkin) and then use jack stands .I need to check and adjust my rear brakes. Thanks!!

Just don't hit the rear cover and you should be ok, I do it all the time.
