im in the process of rebuilding my 318 when the machine shop found a crack in the block. it is by one of the holes for the head bolts. i havent seen it but i was told i could use it. but if it is easy enough i wanted to do a 360 swap. all i need is a long block cause i have another motor. but will the computer work? its a mopar pcm if that matters. will injectors work? TB? converter? pulleys and brackets? electrical? what all do i need to change?

Everything you mentioned can be used on the 360 assuming both engines are magnums.

Use the 318 cam and heads as it has been discussed on the Performance board that they are much better than the 360 stuff. Cam is better, valves are bigger in the 318 heads. Everything else is a go!
BUT, you may want to check the engine mounts. The old 340/360 drivers side was different. Not sure about the Magnums.
You may need a 360 computer.
Good luck and keep us posted on the results.

Yep bolt every thing up but as BMan said use the 318 cam and heads unless you are planning to go with even better aftermarket ones. The pcm will work, the wiring harness is the same, and so is the motor mounts.

As Jon said above this is all assuming that you are doing a magnum motor 92 or later 318 or 93 or later 360.

u may wanna use the 360 injectors though, if your actually lookin for a performance increase, they are only a couple lbs different but you will notice the difference

you need the 360 ecm for it too work correctly...
just put a 93 360 ecm in my 93 318 and it seems to fall on its face until it revs up. injectors are the same size but the open loop a/f ratio is different. when it is closed loop and looking at the ox sensor it runs the same, because the sensor adapts to the 318. but floor it and the open loop programed data is too rich.
In your case when you floor it the open loop would be to lean, very bad for engine.
