Message: My dad swapped the v6 in a 96 dakoda with a 318 from a '99 ram. the cam is modified. the only problem is the computer keeps the O/D switch off; there for the cruise control doesn't work.He changed the computer in the engie compartment to the v8 contol modual..Is there another computer on board or are the speed sensors different? The truck flies and works fine. Any ideas nothing so far has worked.
