what is a better way to change the tranny fluid? drop the pan/filter or have a tranny shop do a complete vacuum of system. thanks

It's better to have the system flushed. You still need to drop the pan and change the filter.
4 qts of clean oil + 2 qts of dirty oil = 6 qts of dirty oil.

its better to go with the tranny shop flush it cause if you drop the pan theres still a lot off trans fluid that you arnt changing in the torque converter you can get it out but its a lot easeyer to have them do it
