Subject: Stock Y pipe part number

Message:
Hello i'm looking for a stock Y pipe for my 2003 4.7 without pre cats. I currenty have the precats and will be intalling headers and wish to go without the pre cats. I will be doing the work myself. No one in my area does custom Y pipes.

Nothing flows like a straight pipe

whatever gain you would see with free-flowing headers would be more than negated by the restriction of a stock Y-pipe.

bigger single improvement in performance and fuel economy was removing the Y-pipe on my 4.7l Ram,

70 serie Flowmaster, dual in - dual out, no Y needed

The part you want is called a catalytic converter. It's a bigass welded piece that connects the exhaust manifolds to the muffler.
If you have a quad-cab the part number is
52103254AC or 52103255AD.
If you have any other model, the part number is
52103527AC or 52103296AE.
