what is this talk about shortening my drive shaft, i have a 97 v8 slt 2wd and i am about to put a 2/4 belltech kit on it, please expound on shortening the driveshaft and why i would need to do that or how i would have it done....thanks

I have a 99 club cab with a groundforce 2/4 drop kit and I didn't need to shorten the driveshaft.
