Subject: Injectors/ custom flash

What injectors do ya'll recommend for my application? I have been told to use the 19# injectors for the below mods. If I get the PCM flashed should I use 19# or 24#? Would the 24# injectors require upgrades to the fuel system? I am referring to the FMS injectors, by the way.

2000 QC Sport Plus 4x4 5.9L 3.92LS, every factory option
equal-length headers and larger y-pipe
Magnaflow single in/ dual out
Autolite 3923's, indexed
Kenne Bell (Taylor) wires
180 stat
Redline Water Wetter
S-bolt
Homemade 4" cold-air induction
Baffled removed from air hat
K&N air filter
Mobil 1 and Purolator
Perma-Cool auxiliary oil cooler
Map sensor mod
TPS set at .774
clutch fan removed (electric fan on thermal switch)
timing advanced app. 2-3 degrees

Very near future mods:
Upgraded throttle body
M1 2-barrel intake
1.7 ratio roller rocker arms
02 SIMM and remove cat
IAT adjuster
underdrive crank pulley
MSD Blaster coil
Ford Motorsports fuel injectors

Unless you change the heads or cam, I don't see anything on your mod list that dictates 24# injectors. Terry Herrin on the east coast has a R/T with 330+ rwhp that runs mid 13s and he's still using the 19s.

I have a 2000 CC R/T and I installed the 24# FMS cobra injectors to feed my supercharger @6# Very nice improvment over all but it trips my MIL light just before boost.

I would think about 19# FMS for your setup. It is a big difference over stock.

Headers/ 3" single exhaust
MSD/BTM ignition
Powerdyne 6#
Bypass Valve
Relocated IAT
52mm Throttle Body
24# FMS Cobra injectors
