my heater/ac blower fan stopped working, the low speed I think works.Usually when the resister goes, the high speed only works. Does anybody know if it is the resister or maybe the control unit or the blower itself. my truck is a 2002 quadcab 4.7 .thanks

When you're sure of the symptoms, post them and we can help. Otherwise you might get an answer like "there's a problem in the fan electrical circuit" and I think you want more than that.

Most likely. 'Bout a $20.. dealer part and easy to replace - once you find out where it is mounted. My 2001 was on the bottom of the blower unit. Passenger side above your feet.

When the truck is warmed up and driving, I feel a little heat from the vents on the low speed, but no heat on medium or high fan speed. I put a test light in the wire harness in the blower resister. The only electic current I get is from the wire going to the blower itself, nothing from the fan switch.

Turns out it was the resister. Cost me only $12.04 .Looks like they redesinged the resister a little bit, and my fan seems to work a little stronger too.Thank's for all your help!!

I have the same issue, but my truck is a 97. I have replaced the resistor, no luck, i have replaced the control's on the dash, i am about to put a toggle switch that controls the fan. I would rather not do the toggle, if someone here knows anything different i can do. Also i have checked the fuses and this is not the problem either.
