I read through the entire old forum and saw alot of people diss the R/T's. well I have an 03 R/T that I bought used at a dealership with 9000km on it for $10,000(canadian funds). since then I've put $30,000 in it.{no bull sh!t} it's been lowered 3" all round, bored & stroked to 408cid, weiland blower running 15 lbs boost, 12 angle valve grind on edelbrock performer rpm heads, comp cam(& I won't give away what grind), full roller assembly, titanium pushrods, underdrive pulleys, new toshiba computer, MSD ignition (everything included), iridium spark plugs, huge valve bodys(in tranny), 2800 stall torque converter, transgo shift kit, heavy duty seals, custom carbon fibre drive shaft,4 link in the rear, detroit locker, 4 wheel disc brakes retro fited, 4 piston calipers infront 2 in the rear, cross drilled and slotted rotors, and oh yeah JBA headers and no cats(I used O2 sims), followed by a wicked magna flow dual exhaust.and all this rides on stock rims and no body mods exept a cowl hood(2 hide the blower). plus there is alot more but my hands are getting sore. But needless to say I havent been touched by any chevy's. A Z06 tryed and failed; bad. If any body thinks I'm talking smack E-mail me at moparforlife@hotmail.com and I'll produce pictures & 9 second 1/4 videos. P.s. Ive even smoked a viper on the street.

Explain 12?? angle valve job please. I don't see how a person could find the room on a valve seat to have this many. I'd really be interested in how thia is done. always willing to learn.

So many problems .... So little time

Show some pics to shut me up!

12 Angle lol. I missed that the first time I read through it. Its hope its a typo. By the way My math may not be the greatest but thats not $30,000 in parts. Not even near it. Unless you paid
10,000 for the motor,
2,000 for the driveshaft,
5,000 for the blower,
3,000 for the trans
5,000 for the suspension
1,000 for the hood
2,000 for the exhaust
2,000 for the Fuel and Spark

For some reason I dont believe you. That or you just really got brutally raped on every part you bought. Anyway it wouldnt make any sense to put that kind of money in a dakota. NO RESALE VALUE. A couple of grand is just fun but 30,000!!!

Resale value? Trucks are like a good dog or a favorite shirt. You keep them for as long as possible and bury the remains.

AND how can anyone read any of that with the GOOGLE ADS all over the posts?

I am on the road (working) and have no time to copy and paste the text somewhere so I can read it. I wish the goodle ads thing would go... or have a CLOSE button to get rid of it.

LOL, I love the the analogy but still that is alot of money. If I had to do it over again I would buy a classic. Its alot of work but you will get your money back in the end.

As for the google post, I wish i could block them but most of the time im at work using a mac (Still the predominate OS in the graphic design world). I just use cut and paste into a word processor when I need to get around them.

Why dicuss the $30k price tag when the entire post was most likely BS? Besides, he is most likely talking "canadian funds."

What kind of idiot would spend all that money and then install cheap ass shorty headers? If he was really running 9 sec. in the 1/4 he would be a whole lot more informative.

Secret cam grind? ROFLMAO
