I've got a 1991 dodge dakota extended cab 4x4 that I am trying to get rid of. I dropped a 318 into it in March. The engine still runs great and has 94000 miles on it. The rear main seal is leaking I think. New parts that I bought for the truck during the swap are as follows: new plugs and wires, new cap and rotor, new clutch kit(clutch,pressure plate, throwout bearing),replaced oil pan gasket, replaced timing chain cover gasket, replaced water pump, put new front shocks on, and replaced both rear U-joints. The swap cost me $1400 overall. The parts that it will need in order to work again are as follows: There is a small sleeve on the transmission shaft, which expanded and seized the throwout bearing. These both need to be replaced, and the pressure plate may have to be replaced. If you are looking for a vehicle to fix up or looking for an engine to complete your swap send me an email. Thanks
