I finished it up yesterday and boy does it pull like a mother facker up top. I deff need a flash now and some different valve springs. The 4Bbl raises the power band way up. When stomping it from 10 mph it will hook up fine and as soon as it hits about 35 mph (4500rpm) the tires will break loose. It also now has a very throughty old school sound under the hood when heavy throttle is applied. Ill try to get some vids up toamrrow. Or maybe even tonight.

Check out these gaskets Rammer bought.

They look like my ATV head gaskets.

I guess they are no longer the WEAK point. Good and bad at the same time I guess!

Are those cometics?? Bad thing is the short block will go before the gaskets will now. And with the detonation thats gonna be a pistons next!! I forgot to take a picture of mine but they are like these

Theres a guy running 15=#'s of boost and they hold as long as detonation is too a minimum. It will make a huge difference in the perf. once you get some fuel to that beast. I would step to 24#'s with a 12:1 FMU and a booster pump, I think that would do the trick. I actually need to upgrade my injectors now with this higher flowing setup. The guage looked a little leaner than before. I might go ahead and invest in a wideband.

I think rammer paid 200 dollars for those. I forgot all about measuring those spacers for you. I will do it tonight after work.

I have the death flash on my truck so I rarely ever set it to retard at all. But with this new setup I get some detonation in the 70mph range so i set it to .5 per psi of boost and the detonation is gone. You will have to play with it. But getting fuel is the biggest factor. Once I get some bigger injectors on I should be able to set it back to 0.

It is very easy to install. Should only take about 10 min tops if you know the wiring for the coil. The knob you can install inside the truck so just start it at 1 per psi of boost and gradually go down untill you get detonation. Than back it back up to your last setting. I doubt you will need to set it any higher than that.

One time I set it at 3 just to see what would happen and it bucked and backfired like hell so it can be bad either way. If its set too far its gonna fire with a valve opened and thats no good.

Also if you got the msd btm it should have a built in multi discharge. Mine does at least and I burn up plugs about 10k with that and the msd coil. So just keep an eye on them.

Those gaskets don't look too bad Mopar318.

The ones Rammer bought are crazy. There is NO folded over metal ring around the cylinder bores to blow out. The entire thing is multi layer metal like ATV gaskets. They are crazy.

Rammer, I got the micro controller working to the point where we had the other thing to control extra injectors. Better actually. And now with only ONE IC instead of FIVE and we could have ran a adjustment knob in the cab to FINE TUNE from within the cab. :p

A little too late now! But maybe this will be the way I go. With an extra pump and injectors. Leaving the PCM stock.

Mopar318, take note on the BLOWN GASKETS!!!

Because we just found out what caused the loss of oil pressure after last weeks races (shortly after replacing the head gaskets!)

I get on Chris today to get the pan off and so he did.
I had my 2 1/2 month old newborn with me, so I couldn't be any help today. But I stopped by to see and takes some pictures.

THIS is a relief!!! As we HOPED for. It was gasket materials and whatnot that went south and PLUGGED the pickup screen!

He scraped out quite a bit of debri.

That's what he scaped out in about 30 seconds!

And lucky for us, no metal shavings in the system WHEW!!!!
