I have had my truck for about 4 months and it only has 88,000 miles on it. In the past month my automatic transmission has been jerking very badly before the engine warms up into the normal zone. When I press on the gas it almost feels like the truck is going back and forth and my rpm meter is fluctuating. Wondered if anyone could help. Last time I had it in the shop they said my transmission fluid was getting pretty dirty, Maybe this has something to do with it? Help please

A complete servicing would be a good start.

If you have time, Right after you turn on your truck, put it in neutral
for a couple of minutes (like 1 or 2), let the lubricants and stuff get
in the transmission. Then shift it into drive. For me, the shifts are
less jerkey.

Another issue is in the tranny coolant lines. There's an anti-drainback valve in one line and if your fluid is already bad, that could already have the valve gummed up and not opening fully. This valve should be replaced, or if you get a TransGo-style tranny kit, eliminated.

After trying to figure out what was wrong, i took it to a mechanic and they replaced all of the spark plugs. Seems to be working great, almost no skipping
