I have gotten alot of good info from all you guys so if i could get
a little more.

Heres whats going on, I have a 95 dakota 318 motor, I replaced
the fuel pump cause it seamed to be on the way out, other then
the whole drop the tank thing I had no big problems. then a
week later heading home from work she just died. The next day
I checked all the bassics to discover the main shut off fuse
blown. so I replaced it and the second I tryed to crank it the fuse
went. I then replaced the fuel pump again tryed to crank it and
again it went. Then I replace the fuel pump relay, tryed and
again It went. Then going in to the distributer to find the pick up
coil wires striped and grounding out. Replacing that and then
the fuse let go again. So im out ideas. Any help at all wold be a
big help.

Thanks

Chris

Any time you do a repair and a new issue starts up on you, start rechecking your work. You did something wrong. I'm guessing a pinched wire. just using logic and that doesn't mean I'm correct. reguardless work backwards till you discover your mistake..

So many problems .... So little time
