Hi,
My muffler on my 2k 4.7L 4x4 is pretty much shot, so I need to get a new one. Im leaning toward the Dynomax Super Turbo, cause its fairly cheap and I don't want anything too loud. I searched and read a million posts but I can't seem to find a clear answer to which one to get. I want the closest one to stock, and if possible use all the stock hangers. It seems they dont make an exact match, but one thats a few inches shorter. Can someone point me in the right direction to which one to get.

Super Turbo 17749?
Super Turbo 17748?
Super Turbo 17710?

Im thinking any will work, with extra piping. I just want to make sure.

I have the same truck as you and I got a Dynomax. I'm sorry I can't remember the exact # though. I think its the 48 one. Anyway its just a few inches shorter and the stock one and they just stuck in a short piece of pipe and clamped everything down. It sounds great. I'd say its just slightly louder than stock. It's got a nice quiet rumble to it. I was actually hoping it would be a little louder but I don't plan on changing it. At 55 or so you can hear it but its not loud, you can tell its there though. I almost wish I'd gotten one thats maybe a little shorter so it would be just a little louder. I'm kicking myself for having a shop install it. After i saw how it was done I should have just bought the 3 or 4 clamps and done it myself and saved the cash. oh well, next time. Good luck.
