 Subject: 92 dakota no fire Please help!!

92 dakota 318 MPI 4X4 Driving at 55 truck died will not restart. No fire at plugs. Good fire At coil. Replaced crank sensor, distributer cap, rotor button, pick up in distributer, new plugs and wires. Checked wiring harness and ASD. all appears ok. What else would stop the plugs from firing but not the coil? can the computer be checked? Please help going crazy.

Was it a gradual when it happened or did it just cut out? Could be an alternator, but you would've notice the voltage drop and electronics start to crap out. Does it crank when you try and start it? If it just cut out, I'd say you've got a short of some kind. Possibly a dead fuel pump?
