Subject: a/c fuse blowing out.

it's hot today, "in the dakota 2000 4.7" went to turn on a/c, nothing but warm air. checked the fuse, it was blown. replaced it with a 20 amp. turned on the a/c heared a pop! blown again! what would be causing the a/c to blow the fuse? and where do i begin? thank you.

ps to my last post about battery charging, i did buy a heavy duty battery from les schwab tire. heavy duty one. good people there.

Wierd situation man.......Could be wiring...could be the actual electric part of the compressor clutch. More than likely though I would think a relay may be bad. Check that first.
