depends what type of exhaust your looking at. Single, or dual? For a dual, I would personally recommend the Gibson. Good sound, little loss of low end, but gain in higher RPM. If your looking at a single exit, why not just change the muffler. Would save you alot of money since you already have the pipes there. Would also improve the sound and performance for something probably about $100 or less. By the way...I think i paid around $320 for my Gibson

If you have a V6 go with the Dynomax Super Turbo. It sounds very nice under hard acceleration, but drones a little bit at constant speeds. It is very fun to pull up to ricers, cuz you can make a rumble compared to their fart machine. I just rode in an Integra, and I was so gald to own a V6 with a good muffler. I havn't had any other muffles installed before, but from listening to cars with V6's......the Dynomax Super Turbo Kicks ass. Sounds nice, and adds a little performance on. ( A muffler isnt gonna do much anyways) Also, its single in/single out, which is the best, because a Magnum V6 cant really handle a dual exhaust, because the engine needs backpressure, or it will lose a lot of low end power. Also, the muffler and labor will run a little over $100, and you drive away in 30 minutes or so. It takes time getting used to it, but now that ive had it for 2000 miles, i love it.
Just my opinion.

I also put a Dynomax Super Turbo on my 2000 V6. Advice I took from earlier posts. It sounds much better than stock but doesn't make so much noise that you can't hear anything else. Although sometimes when the wife is with me more noise would be a good thing. Seriously to me it sounds great and was only 40 some dollars from Jegs. Then had a local shop put it on for another 40 dollars. Put a cold air intake on with it and you will notice a difference, not a huge difference but you will notice it.

I would not go with the gibson. I just took one off my v6 dak because it robbed low end torque and sounded like crap. It was so loud inside i hated driving it (I'm not an old person either, only 28).

I switched it with a flowmaster 70 series. It has a great sound (only slightly louder than stock inside the cab) and much improved performance over the gibson.

I never took a trip with the gibson so I can't mention any milage differences.

I tow in the summer. With the stock muffler I got about 15 - 16 mpg towing a 2000 lb trailer. This summer I got almost 18 mpg on the same trip (I also had an airaid intake on this trip). So you may see some increase in mpg also.

Good luck. Let us all know what you do.
