So if I go and post a common mod without request nobody's gonna tell me that it's already been posted many times before.

"You can replace your V6 throttle body with a V8 throttle body and gain a decent amount of power. You may have to replace the throttle cable though."
Yeah, nobody's gonna say a word about that right? Wrong. Somebody WOULD say something, whether they were being an ass about it or not. It keeps people in check and will prevent the person from doing it again and again in the future...which could indeed make that person look reeaaally stupid in front of people who frequent this place (not limited to just us "members").

Where do I get this cable you're talking about?
Can I port the V8 TB without losing low end?
Should I use a throttle body spacer?

Granted, this all happened way before my arrival on this board so I'm sure that I don't know the entire story...
But from what I've gathered by reading old posts, he (Bernd) got into a bit of trouble with his shop/business (speedtweaks) and left quite a few people with unfilled orders- which they already paid for. I guess that he had to cut his losses, close shop and disappear...
Maybe we can get one of the old timers (Greg) to give us the scoop on Bernd.

Yeah...I was around when that happened, but I don't know if there were other details involved. I kept in touch with Bernd somewhat, but he didn't talk about it much. He just always said he was working on filling orders as quickly as he could and he would eventually get them all filled...then next thing we knew he was gone.

bernd is still around but on another board.

he still lives in the same area he's always been and works for a dealership. As much as he probably pissed me off as he did the several people with his business, i do not wish to give specifics.
