Subject: oil pressure and cruise control

Message:
Anyone here noticed anything odd about the oil pressure in relation to disengaging cruise control? I have a '95 club cab 4x4 with 3.9. Usually when the wife drives on the highway and uses cruise control, the oil pressure jumps up noticable (depends on when she first notices it and we turn the vehicle off.

I did notice that when i use CC this never happens. however, when i disengage it, i do so via the brake and not the off switch. When she disengages it, it's usually by pressing the off switch.

anyone have any thoughts on this?
