Message:
I was wondering if anyone could tell me the locations of the VSS(Vehicle Speed Sensor) wire and the tach wire on a 1988 3.9 Liter Dakota because i am installing an Audiovox cruise control on my truck and the installation instructions given just plain out suck. The reason i am installing this is because i will be driving about 50 miles ,one way, a day. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks guys.

Tach wire should be the negitive side of the coil. VSS should be on the trany. Also see if you can use a magnetic pick-up for your cruise control.

I concur. I add the Audiovox system to my 91 Dakota.
