Subject: strange pop when i hit the gas....
IP: Logged

Message:
when im driving sometimes, ill rev the engine and then down shift, or when im accelerating. My truck or the engine will pop pretty loud, and i think i might be able to feel it through the gas petal sometimes. i think the engine is missing? or backfiring throught the intake or something? Is a 3.9 5spd Dakota...anyone ever experience this?

Yes it happens on my truck sometimes to. Mostly if i rev it up right when it starts. At first I thought it was the intake I put on but when I took the intake of and tried it it did the same thing.

It could be the fuel sync set improperly causing the injectors to fire to early
