 Subject: turndowns?

i put a thrush turbo muffler on my 89 with nothing after the muffler. would a turndown make it sound better?

It would prolly sound deeper/throatier cuz it would echo the sound from the muffler off the ground...you'll also get a lot more interior resonance.

with the thrush turbo muffler it is definetly deep sounding, but once rpm's go over 2500 you cant hear anything from the exhaust. tomorrow i'll to go advance auto and see if they have the right size turndown.

ha! put the turndown on and it was so quiet. what a waste of time. i'm going to return the clamps and turndown. get my 8 bucks back.
