Sad.....Me and Mike (Mikes94Dakota) were coming back from lunch when we see an RX8 keep flying through traffic on the main street of Valley Mills Dr. Well we seem to get his attention of the new exhaust I had put on the dakota and so he strats fukin with us. Well we get to the light and he wants to go...so at the light we went...I spin kinda badly but still manage to pull a truck length on him, I grabbed second and he pulled back on us and was steadily pulling. When I hit 3rd he stopped pulling, and we started gaining and we eventusally passed him at about 75-77 m.p.h. We get to the next light and he wouldnt say anything. What a pumk ass kid. He could of asked if at least we had a V8 LOL...slow RX8's...although when i get my 3.90 gears i will try out the 5 or 6 speed RX8's
Today that kill made my day...just thought I would share it through the rest of this board.

Geez, nobody freeking cares about all your lame ass stories. If you want some real credit, take it to the track, get some numbers, and then we can compare those to everything else.

I agree. The RX8 runs 0-60 in under 7 secs and the 1/4 in 14.9 (Car and Driver road test) I own an 04 SXT RC 5spd with the 3.7. Yea its quick for what it is, but you really need to quit talking out of your ass. Your pants are starting to muffle your voice.

Let me ask you people why you are so mad about these posts being up when the guy is just proud that his truck can beat sports cars...I realize that this is not a kill story board and people here just need info and not know how or what we raced, and some poeple just dont care but dont hate on him just because you dont enjoy racing...if you dont like it then dont post.

Yes I raced a viper once with my 3.9 quad cab 4x4 automatic. He didn't stand a chance of ever catching me. I raced him 3 times to prove it. And I didn't go over the speed limit.
Now for the part of the story I left out. It was January and 6" of snow on the road.

yeah, you can ask my 17 year old son about street racing. he came very close to losing 4 of his friends when the driver decided to race someone else in his new Gran Prix GT he just got. ran through a stop sign on a tee @ about 90mph. luckily noone else was crossing @ the same time. wound up rolling the car a couple times. i told him if i caught him doin' that crap, if the wreck didn't kill him i would! that's what the tracks are for!

Im pretty sure he knows how to spell the word...its called being pissed and typing fast.,..durhh.
IF there was a kill story forum then, he would have posted it on the forum.
Also people who street race know what their getting themselves into and what not....When we street race its not like we run stop lights or
run cars off the road to get that win or something like that...we have been doing this ever since we have been driving...and yes there were a few close calls....but even if we would have wrecked....it would have been very minor.
Street Racing is illegal yes...but you people act like we do it all the time...NO we just race maybe 2 or 3 times a night and cruise the rest of the time.
Its called having some fun...some people like to play poker, while other like to go gamble, maybe our fun is different then your fun but still....give him a break...like I said before dont post if you dont agree its not like he hit triple digits on the street...and its not like he is going out of his way to street race...there is alot of time we could have raced but didnt because of a little traffic meaning like 2 or 3 cars up ahead.
If you like your truck and are proud of it and how it performs then fine, but dont rag on him because a sprots car lost to a truck....its actually hilarious

first of all mike, playing poker is gambling. if all you guys do is cruise around all nite until you get to a stoplight and someone wants to race you, then you have no life and need to get some friends besides your butt buddy "fast and the furious" friends. why dont you stop wasting your time cruising around at nite and get a job so you can actually make your truck even worth racing.

I am not taking sides here, but poker gambling is a totally diferent risk. All the players know they may loose money. On the street, the two racing know they could die or get hurt, but what about the innocent bystander they hit. Could be a kid who doesn't realize your speeding. If your gonna do it just be careful where and maybe take a course in it. I went to Hennessy Racing school in NC. Awesome class you learn a lot about handling a vehicle. Also have my EVOC (emegency vehicle operators certificate) I am a volunteer fireman and needed it to drive the fire trucks, ambulances and command vehicles.

JFH makes a good case. There are no innocent bystanders to contend with when gambling. A course in racing wouldn't hurt either. Stop and think about it. What would you do if some street racer would suddenly come across your path or someone else in your families path when you're just"cruisin'"?

Yes I realize all of this....but like i said we dont race alot just a little and only at a stoplight.
Kids and other cars are a factor of street racing and yes i would probably never street race again if a family member got hurt from a person street racing....How long have i been driving...good question im 19 i have been street racing fdor 3 years but i have been driving since i was 12.
