 Subject: injectors a bad idea???

I'm talking to a friend about the injectors, and he says that it will run lean, and that I will need a new regulator and fuel pump. what do you think??

Never heard that... they aren't any -larger- than the old ones, both are 19#... the Ford ones have 4 injector hole things instead of one on the Dodge, and tend to get a better fuel/air mix because of that. Or so I've been told. Ask Lesley, she has them! :0)

I researched them before I bought them, and asked knowledgable people like Bernd all sorts of advice. Everything I heard about them was positive, and since they were such a good deal, I went ahead and got them. My mechanic is from a long-time racing family, he and his dad race everything from a 39 Dodge Coupe to an 80s Challenger, to daks, and are the most knowledgeable dodge mechanics in my area. He not only heartily endorsed my purchasing of them, he installed them for me and took the truck for a drive afterwards... and was VERY impressed with the truck's performance lately. It runs great - why would you change the fuel pump and regulator? They are still 19 lb. injectors, they just have a more efficient 4-hole spray pattern.

Sorry, it's been drilled into me never to ship without payment. Working retail for a few years, and my mother being an avid Ebay seller, they beat it into me :0)
Just paypal it to me and I can send tomarrow once I put the throttle body back on my truck! If the weather is crappy and I can't, I'll borrow someone's car. :0)
