Ok, for anyone who has experience with 4x4's... The place where the tranny meets the transfer case there are these nuts that seem to hold em together and are loose and go all around the circumfrence of the joint between the 2. I mean they can be turned with my hand... and there is geyish oil comin out... What oil is this. Dodge forgot to tighten them i guess and ive been driving with this like that for like 1k miles. They had to replace my clutch pack and took the tranny out. They didnt tighten these nuts and now i dunno what fluid i have been losing... PLease tell me if u know...

Sounds like oil from you manual tranny. There is a plug on the side of the tranny where you can check fluid level. Check your owner's manual, they usually say like 1/2" below the hole. I always use an allen wrench for a dipstick. You might want to dump the oil and refill, since grey oil is not in good shape, again, see what your manual says for fluid. My last stick shift called for 90weight gear oil, and the truck I used to work on all the time had all different requirements. A lot of newer trucks like synthetic stuff in the tranny.

Hope this helped,

Shawn

Are they the bolts on the front of the transfer case?

If so, and they are that loose, then the goop cooming out is the lube from the transfer case. You need to have tose tightened and get the tranfer case refilled! Before it does any further damage.
