Sharp car, nice lookin color! Is that a 4.6L? This guy I know at work has an 00 GT, it sounds mean as heck! As much as I hate to say it, I don't want to challenge him to a race with my dak (unless it’s in the mud/snow/rain! LOL)

I think it's a 4.6L...it's the Mach1 so whatever comes standard in that. lol

yeah thats the 4.6L then (32 valve DOHC I bieleve)... it should also have the mach 460 audio system (I think) pretty sweet ride (for a ford LOL j/k :)

lol yeah...he's got the nice sound system. I wouldn't want any soundsystem with one of those suckers though. I just love the way Mustangs sound. It's the 32 valve w/ DOHC also. That's what was being worked on. The caps or something on the cams came loose and were causing a clicking noise. It's still in the shop... the dealership called and said the reusable gasket on one of the valve covers isn't reusable afterall. It leaked when they put it back together, but they did get the clicking fixed.

I've ridden in it twice. When I'm outside the vehicle, he gives me an evil stare if I so much as touch it. =P
I'll be in IL tomorrow - Monday so I won't be posting a whole lot this weekend. I'll have very limited internet access and it'll be over 56k...ugh.

That sounds like how I am with my DAK :-P i bet he secretly cringes if anyone parks near it too LOL!
I park way out in the boonies at the store (wal mart, lowes, sears, etc) as to avoid shopping carts, and people who don't have enough respect to hold on to their door when they OPEN IT!!! Just like the pic you have on your car domain site! I was raised to respect other's belongings, as I want mine to be respected. Unfortunately, this is NOT the case with everyone....
In other news i dropped my skid plates and cleaned all the crud from them. That was a mammoth undertaking! It took me about 1 hour alone, just to scrape all the mud/sand out of the underside! Then i had to scrub it about 5 times to get it clean, and unplug all the drain holes... its easier to take off then i thought, the composite plastic is pretty light...
Sorry for the rant :-)

Sounds like it's about as fun as cleaning off my four-wheeler...lol. I do the same as far as parking and stuff. Funny thing is, the last time I parked out in the boonies, that's where I got hit while parked.

i parked out in the boonies once at a mall. i mean waaay out in the boonies. some jackass in a lexus parked right next to me. i mean RIGHT next to me. like, i had to get in on the passenger side and climb across. not because i didn't want the door to hit, but because i couldn't have squeezed my body between the two vehicles if i was Starvin Marvin!
needless to say, i let my temper get the better of me and i left some oral fluids on his windshield, as well as keying him as i backed out. (only time i ever keyed anyone) lemme tell ya, this lexus was not easy to scratch! but i got him.
that was 6 yrs ago, and never since have i come across anyone with the balls to park that close to me that far away from the rest of the cars.

I always park far, far away form everyone else, never had anyone park right one me like that though. The nerve of some people!
However, the first day, the very first day that I had my truck, brand freakin' new, some idiot dinged me at work. It's a large office building with a pretty big lot so I'll never know who it was. So now I park way in the corner of the lot- near the dumpster- there's a real wide end space so I can give myself plenty of "my space" room. Even though I've been parking there every day for the last year and a half, every now and then some dope in his beat to hell Ford Expedition (there's a new dent on this thing every week) gets in before me and parks there. As if he needs to protect that pos! I'd key it but he'd never notice!
BUT, the thing that really, really gnaws at me is that there are FOUR nice big dings all lined up along the lower panel of my passenger side door! AND, get this, they're all from my wife! Unbelievable! ARRRGH!!!!!!!!!
God, if I didn't love her so...
Yeah, I know that I'm a real wuss for not posting with my real name, but she knows that I post on here. Boy would she be po'd if she knew that I was ranting about her- heehee!
Anyway... I wonder if "topo" ever got the info he was looking for?
