Subject: Power Window Motors

My power window motors seem to be going bad in my 2002 dakota. The drivers side window is the worst, but both are now ungodly slow. My question is how much would it cost to get them replaced. Knowing I wouldn't be able to do it myself, I would have to get it done professionally.

Check that your window regulator and or window track isn't binding --- Bent track, debris in track... if you spray the plastic followers with a 'chain lube' type lubricant (not WD40)-- you might find that it works much better--- and it's not the motors themselves.
