Subject: Seat belt light and buzzer

Well, now that my AC condensation problem is fixed, how about this one? My seat belt light is on whenever the key is on and the buzzer buzzes whenever the belt in unbuckled and the key is on. As I work with the truck off road, get in and out a lot, and move at very slow (5mph or less) speeds, this is very annoying. The buzzer seems to work just fine (unfortunately) but won't go off. Normally the seat belt buzzer only buzzes for about 30 seconds...

Keith,
I remember seeing a post a week or so ago, someone wanted to disable the seatbelt chime. I think that he found a wire with a connector under the driver's seat, towards the back, and disconnected it. This makes the truck think that the seatbelt is always secured.

Don't know why yours would constantly chime though. I think that mine just chimes twice when I first start up the truck. I always put the belt on right after I start it, so I don't really know if it would continue to chime...
Maybe I'll test that out in the parking lot after work.

Thanks, but I don't really want to completely disconnect it, just make it work right again.
