 Subject: Weird transmission line setup on 94 Dak

I have been having a problem with leaking transmission lines on my 94 v-6 2WD Dakota. When I went to the dealer to get a replacement line, what they had looked nothing like what was on my truck. My truck has a weird setup where there is a blue anodized triangular block on the pressure port on the transmission, with the pressure line coming out of it and going to the radiator, while the return line runs from the radiator to this block, then out another line and back to the return port. Has anyone else seen a setup like this? I am not sure how this block is attached, I can move it slightly, so I think it is a snap-on fitting, but it looks like I'm going to have to take everything off to fix these leaks. The dealer says they have no knowledge of such a setup being offered from the factory, yet all the lines looked like factory lines.

they are a quick connect setup
some trucks have plastic connectors
Good luck I have a set of lines like that on
national back order for over a month now
Pass side is presure side
drivers side return line
What I am going to do if they do not come in soon
is cnange the connectors on trans and rad and go
with a set of stainless steel lines

I didn't have any trouble getting new lines, they are a stocking item, I just wondered why my truck had this strange setup which is apparently non-stock, even though it looks stock. The original owner has no explanation, and the trans has never been swapped or anything.

I just did not want you to know that I drag raced and pulled a big trailer with it. I put the system on when I installed a large tranny cooler.
