 Subject: fun at the street races

this past weekend i decided to go out to the street races, seeing as me and my friends had nothing better to do. while we were sitting around lookin at all the cars pullin in, this kid with a toyota matrix was walkin around callin goin, slow, slow,slow,slow as walkin by our cars/ he stops and looks at my truck and started laughin and says that my truck wouldent even be with the gas it would take to start his car. so i nicely walked over 2 him and asked if he wanted to run, he did so we went to the spot. we raced, at the end of first gear the nose of his car was at my tail gait, i grabed second he edged up alittle but then went right back to his spot behind me, and 3rd gear it was over buy the end of fourth i almost has 2 trucks on him. we get back and he was like this is bull $hit! he goes and get his friend with a del sol, and we ended up racing and i take him by a truck leignth, furstrated again they go and get there other friend with a 89 mustang gt, i was like wtf i have a v6 dakota? why are u getting him so they were like dont be a bitch just race so i was like alright let me run home first. i go back home put my slicks on, take my tail gait off, took out the pass seat and subs, put my nitrous bottle in and hooked it up. i never drive around with it hooked up in the truck cuz its mounted inbetween the pass seat and drivers, and i open up my race ready. i get back and people are just like ?wtf? to be a jerk i drove right into the middle of there croud and purged it. i asked wen we were goin to do this and all of sudden the kid with the mustang was throwing out excuse after excuse....owell atleast i got to beat a marix and del sol. the matrix was a 2wd v6 auto with exhaust/intake and the del sol was a si with intake exhaust and throttle body...not bad for the truck :)

awesome dude, i havent been to the street races down here for awhile now, i really dont have anyone to go with, i used to go with a freind of mine, who had an 03 Lancer, but he moved to Tennessee. I havent even got to race my truck there. what all you have done to your Dak? so far i have a Flowmaster cat back, and a Volant air intake....later man....have fun....

as far as mods go, its only intake,exhaust, v8 tb, pulleys, full msd ignition, 3.90s + trac loc, 5.0 injectors, and thats it. i have a 1/2 ported intake manifold, 1.7 roller rockers, and a double rolling timing chain. but i think im goin to sell all my go fast parts for the v6 with the exception of the msd and nitrous. im pickin up a 360 next week :)the nitrous kit i use is a nx wet kit, i normaly run the 75 shot when playing around but come next weekend before i yank the v6 ium running around with the 100. hye intense how lopng do u think the 8.25 rear would last behing the 360? i wana see if i can move up to 4.56 gears or 4.10's

i am running a 8.25 behind a 400 BB with a lot of torque... i think it will last forever as long as i dont try to cut a 1.6 60' or something drastic.
