does the length of the tubing from the airhat to the filter matter, or would it hamper the airflow to the engine if it was too long? I'm making a homebrew intake and saw a good spot for the filter but i'd have to cut the tubing a little longer than i had originally planned. also, what do i have to do to relocate the IAT sensor? Thanks.

Length won't matter unless you make it reaaaaal long....but many people run theirs from the airhat dang near to the bumper.

Also IAT relocate...I believe all the instructions can be found at http://www.speedtweaks.ca (Tips & Tricks section).
It's a real easy mod, but I'll warn you...I've heard some trucks react great with it and some don't like it very well.

Relocating the IAT will trick your computer into thinking that it's running in cooler air. Colder denser air needs more fuel, so the computer adds fuel to keep the air/fuel ratio in check. what it is doing is making engine run rich (fat). More fuel more power. More fuel, less mpg, so you can get a IAT controller or a 2nd IAT(the relocated one) and switch the wire back to the 1st IAT when the mpg/emissions are a problem.
