go to fiveomotorsports.com and talk to bruce, i got a bosch set
from him which are superior to our factory injectors $187

factory are like 15% tolerance with each other where the bosch
are within 5% of each other, smoother running engine better
mpg that way

92 to 99 19 lbs
00 and up 21 lbs

he has the bosch ford motor sports injectors with
either design 2 4 hole spray or design 3 with 6
factory injectors are 1 hole and very slopy tolerance

They come with new o rings ready to instal just
put a little oil on the rings instal plug in and
away you go it takes about 200 miles for the comp
to trim the fuel than they run great

Hey Larry,
I was told that my '00 Has a '99 style motor. I was told that the 99 has a distributor and the '00 has a coil-pack is that true? My truck has a 9/99 built date. Is there a way to tell if there is a visual way to tell which injectors I have?.......Thanx

I just got a 1999 Dodge Dakota SLT from my brother and it has a fault code saying # 5 miss firing. I had a new set of spark plugs installed today and it did not correct the problem. Does anyone know if taking the injector out and soaking it and the rail might help?? The check engine flashes when u first start out then as u pick up speed it stays on. I know u hae to replace the O ring if u take it out and put oil on it. HELP!!!!!!!

Could be a fuel injector. What does the spark plug look like when you take it out? Do you smell gas on it?

I just replaced my stock injectors with a set of 19 lbs injectors from five-o. Made a world of difference. Runs smoother, quieter, and best of all, I get better gas mileage!

My truck is a 93 with 160,000 miles. The old injectors were stock.

another cause for the misfire code is oil getting into the
combustion chamber, is your belly pan leaky? i used to get
those misfire codes and that is exactly what it was

since they just chnaged the plugs it could be a bad plug wire or the distributor cap.

Hi

anyone knows if the on board computer need to be change when you install performance injectors like ACCEL or BOSCH?

The ACCEL injectors quote for my 3.9 were cheaper than the stock one.

go to http://www.fiveomotorsport.com/Injector_SetsDODGE.asp

pick your injectors. for the new design bosch i think they are $280 a set of 6. i'd buy these before i'd buy the Accel.

no you won't have to reprogram the PCM if you stay with the stock size. you shouldn't need anything bigger unless heavily modded and forced induction.
