 Subject: 3.9 V6 Intake/Exhaust Mods

I see a lot about balancing the intake and exhaust to get optimum performance (ie - opening up the intake at the same time and to the same degree as the exhaust).
Is there a recommended ratio or method to making sure you have the correct balance between the two. I would like to start with some mods, but I want to make sure I get the most bang for my buck.
Thanks for any advice ya'll can offer.

there really isn't a balance. just if you add an intake.....do something to the exhaust and the intake will work that much better.
