 Subject: VERY SLUGGISH

Well my 89 dak, 3.9 seems to be real sluggish. Has good power just no good with acceleration. I`m going to by the best plugs, wires, and I`m gonna put on a flowmaster muffler and prbably an intake system.
Should doing this solve my problem?
Would the problem have anything to do with my throttle body?
And what would be the best plugs,flowmaster and intake to get?
Sorry for so many questions and thx!

Do you have a catalytic converter on that truck? If you do sounds like the classic clogged cat problem. Clogged fuel filter?
