Will a v6 out of a 99 dakota swap easily into a 94 dakota?

Physically = yes
But 94 has EGR and 99 does not..
Have to find the solution for that
otherwise - computer will detect
No EGR and go into RICH mode
Can't use 99 computer - they also
use a second O2 sensor ( after the cat )
Probably best to switch intake/exhaust manifolds
and/or whatever else is visibly different..

Has anyone actually done this swap? I was planning on changing the intakes but I am not sure if the heads are the same.

heads are the same. You would just need to use the exhaust and intake manifold from the '94 and it will all bolt right on.

6.6 Lt. Big Block, 727 TF shift kit, 452 heads, edelbrock 750 cfm, .513/.513 284/300 crower cam, comp cams springs, comp cams pushrods, 1.5 roller rockers, dp intake, mopar ignition, mopar windage tray, dual exhaust w/ 40 series flowmasters, 4.10 gears, coilover drag suspension, approx, 3500 lbs
