It mo freakin died again. I was sitting at my bank in the parking lot, I let it sit for a time, was kinda chilly outside, silly texas weather, and changed a cd. When I shifted from park to reverse, the tach fell to 500 then it died. What is goin on?? I have used STP complete fuel system cleaner, like you had recommended for cleaning the injectors.

My advice would be to take some sandpaper and polish up those battery terminals and the connections, our dakotas have the worst of both. They corrode very easily and the cranking amps and voltage being transferred will drop so low as to cause stumbling. The same thing happened to me now i just give it a scrub with the sandpaper about every 1000 miles just to be sure, also check for condensation on the terminals.
Good luck,
Josh
