I feel your pain, I just got mine back 3 weeks ago after some punk stole mine out of my driveway, ripped out my amps subs, ect. They left it only a couple blocks from my house. It took 4 days to find it, 2 1/2 weeks in the insurance compound and a week and a half in the body shop. So I drove around in an f 150 for a month......believe me I was glad to get it back.
Oh, and still waiting on my stereo claim.
Sucks man.

Real sorry for you man!
Reminds me of back in college (Newark, NJ) we caught some guy breaking into our friends car. We, um...restrained.. the suspect until the cops came. The guy tells the cops "Hey, I didn't do nothin'!". Cop says, "Well then, no need for us here, lets go" The guy looks around (there were now about a dozen of us watching) and decides that he would be MUCH better off going with the cops than staying with us. Ahh.. the good old days. Anyway, I hope either you or the cops find the guy... and your dak!

why do people have to steal?? they can get their ONW if they GET A JOB!!
i would be furious if something like that happened to my dak (i'm one of those guys, that glances back at their truck 2 or 3 times as i head into the store)

Get the word out on the street ,call in favors maybe you can at least get the dak back if not find the low lifes that did the deed. hope you kept good records on the truck as the worst f@#king you will take is from the insurance co. my sincerest condolences to you for your loss

well t-day..I found my truck..and the guy..But he ran through lawns and ran In the truck..I was in a saturn no way I could catch him..
Called 911 took 5 mins before they put me intouch with the sheriff..by then he was long gone..a "bo;o" is out..but it seems the cops are not really worried bout finding my truck..

Tazzy: you have my sympathy. I know how I felt when some one broke in to my dak. If they had taken it I would really have been upset.
Dingo: unfortuatly in this day and time the cops would arrest Tazzy if he told them he had a gun and was after the bastard. They would consider him armed and dangerous. In my area if you shoot a burgler he better be inside your house if he is 1 inch out the door you will be charged with manslaughter.

Amazing that you saw your STOLEN Dakota being driven by the D--- Thief. Man, I bet your heart was racing thinking about what you were going to do to him when you caught him.
Well, look at the bright side. If and when you get it back, you will be comfortable with the fact that if you are being chased by a COP in a Saturn that you can outrun him : - )

Tazzy, I have hd the same experience, lucky I got my truck back without any serious damage. I believe King County Washington (Seattle) has one of the highest vehicle theft rates in the country. A car theft here has got to be caught 8 to 10 times before seeing any seroius jail time. I hope you can get this matter solved.

as of now..My truck is out nation wide as stolen..
And yes I though of going back to my old life and calling friends in a motorcycle "club"
But I dont really want to go there yet...
