I was wondering what the best exhaust for a 2000 3.9L V6 Quad Cab would be. I dont want a loud exhaust, i hate taht, i jsut want that sinister low rumble. My friend has a cheap 2.2L Honda, and the Catback system on taht thing makes it sound lower than mine! So i was wonderin what a few of yall had, and where i could be able to find it!

flowmaster 40 series sounds pretty decent at idle but has a loud rumble when you stomp the throttle or get into the 2500 rpm range and higher.

I put a Dynomax Super Turbo on my 2000 Dakota V6 and I am very happy with it. It's not so loud that I can't hear the wife, although sometimes that wouldn't be a bad thing and it definitely sounds much better than the stock muffler. It has a pretty good rumble to it. I ordered it from JEGS for 42.95.

LOL, the people on this site are hilarious.

I was wonderin where i could find sales on this. I was lookin on EBAY, and theres VERY little for a 2000 V6 Quad cab. I read that a dual catback system on a V6 is a no no, so i dont mind a single.

I put a Dynomax Superturbo muffler only on my 1993 Dakota. With my throttle body and various other mods, it made a huge difference. It sounds great and I don't like loud. It just has a low pretty quiet rumble. It sounds about the same as before since my stock muffler was rusted out but was great because of the performance difference.
